IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is meant to be a good-value travel experience trip, planned to find a right balance between adventure, nature, culture, shopping and even chill-out time. Having said that, travelers should still be relatively fit, with a good sense of humor, and above all, have the right attitude for close travel with others through possibly some trying times. Most definitely, this is not a trip for prudes, whiners, fuss-pots, and other similarly assorted types! We had a couple of those before and it wasn't pleasant for us or them.

Although every effort will be made to stick to the given itinerary, ground conditions may change and cause some disruption and/or deviation from the norm. Otherwise, have fun!

DAY 0 – KLIA1 Gather KLIA1 on 4th APRIL 2027 (SUN), 11pm (3 hours before departure)
DAY 1 – KUALA LUMPUR-BAKU Our Emirates flight EK343 departing Kuala Lumpur to Dubai (0200-0505) 05 APR 2027 (MON). Transit in Dubai for 3 hr05m before our connecting flight EK2198 to Baku, Azerbaijan (0810-1105). Arrival in Baku, transfer to hotel for rest and relax, nurturing jet lag and/or to explore surrounding area on own. Overnight Baku
DAY 2 – BAKU OLD CITY Exploring UNESCO World Heritage Site, Baku's Old City (Icherisheher) on foot. Some of the places of attractions are Gosha Gala Gapisi, Museum of Miniature Books, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Muhammad Mosque and many more. Overnight Baku (B)
DAY 3 – GOBUSTAN NP & ABSHERON PENINSULA Visiting Gobustan National Park with a a brief stop at Bibi-Heybat Mosque & The first Oil Well. Next is Gobustan Petroglyph Museum & Rock Art, The Mud Volcanoes.  Continue our journey to Absheron Peninsula (The Land of Fire) for Ateshgah Fire Temple and Yanar Dag. Free and easy evening/night to explore more of Baku – Overnight Baku (B)
DAY 4 -  BAKU-SHEKI (~300KM) Along the journey, we will stop at Diri Baba Mausoleum, often called as Azerbaijan's “Little Petra”, and Shamakhi Juma Mosque-the second oldest mosque in the entire Caucacus region, before arriving Shekhi-a UNESCO World Heritage town-served as one of the most vital trading crossroads on The ancient Silk Road, - Overnight Sheki (B)
DAY 5 – SHEKI (AZERBAIJAN)-TELAVI (GEORGIA) (~205KM) Early morning start to visit the attraction site in Sheki-Sheki Khan's palace, Yukhari Caravanserais, Kish Church, before we continue our journey to Georgia. To experience the land border crossing between Balakan/Lagodekhi Border Check point. Continue our journey to the Georgia's scenic Khakheti wine region straight into Telavi. Overnight Telavi (B)
DAY 6 – TELAVI-SIGHNAGHI (~123KM ROUND TRIP) We will do Telavi town walk for a visit to the Giant Plane tree, wine and food adventure. Short drive to Alaverdi Monastery or day trip to Sighnaghi town, the “City of Love” if the weather permits. Overnight Telavi (B)
DAY 7 -TELAVI- STEPANTSMINDA (~181KM) We will drive over Gombori Pass to the first stop at the vibrant turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir viewpoint, followed by Ananuri Castle Viewpoint, and cliffside Georgian Russian Friendship Monument viewpoint before descending into Stepantsminda at the base of Mount Kazbek- Overnight Stepantsminda (B)
DAY 8 – STEPANTSMINDA SIGHTSEEING AND HIKING In the morning, we will visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, iconic-postcard landmark on a lone, isolated hilltop surrounded by green pastures of the Caucacus Mountain. Later on, we will do the hiking/trailwaking in the Truso Valley, often called the”valley of Wonders” because of its different landscape shaped by volcanic activity, carbonated water and centuries of human isolation. DAY 9 – STEPANTSMINDA-GORI-TBILISI (~266KM) Leaving Stepantsminda, continuing our journey to the capital of Georgian Tbilisi. We will have short stop in Gori to have a quick look at Stalin's House in Gori, Uplistsikhe Caves, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral UNESCO, Jvari Monastery UNESCO. Overnight Tbilisi (B)
DAY 10 – TBILISI WALKING TOUR We are going to explore Tbilisi on foot, visiting Freedom Square, Kote Abkhazi Street, Gabriadze Clock Tower, walking through the old city to Rike Park and Narikala Fortress to hidden waterfall. Evening visiting cozy taverns and enjoying the local vibes. Overnight Tbilisi (B)
DAY 11 – FREE AND EASY TBILISI Exploring another side of Tbilisi, Dry Bridge Flea Market, or visiting the creative hubs and architecture at Fabrika Tbilisi. Easy and relaxing own time  chill and enjoying coffee and pastries at sidewalk café or taking the Metro and exploring the city. Overnight Tbilisi (B)
DAY 12 – TBILISI, GEORGIA– DILIJAN, ARMENIA (~195KM) Another land border crossing today into another country, Armenia. On the way will visit do a short hike to Kayan Fortress and then visit Haghpat Monastery and on arrival, exploring Dilijan Town – Overnight Dilijan (B)
DAY 13 – DILIJAN HIKING A scenic hike in Dilijan National Park, connecting the pristine mountain lake, Lake Parz with a historic 12th century medieval monastery, Goshavank. Overnight Dilijan (B)
DAY 14 - DILIJAN- YEREVAN (~222KM) We will be travelling to the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan today, with excursion to Lake Sevan area to visit Noratus Cemetary, Sevanavank Monastery and on the way stopping at Echmiadzin Cathedral – Overnight Yerevan (B)
DAY 15 – YEREVAN CITY TOUR a full day exploring Yerevan city, visiting attractions like Victory Park, Mother Armenia Statue, Cascade of Yerevan, Pedestrian Promenades, Artisan Markets and vibrant squares etc. Overnight Yerevan (B)
DAY 16 – GARNI TEMPLE-SYMPHONY OF STONES-GEGHARD MONASTERY Day trip short distance from Yerevan to visit 1st century pagan monument - Garni Temple, towering basalt cliffs look like a giant natural organ pipes-Symphony of Stones and Geghard Monastery, beautiful medieval complex carved right into the mountain. Evening for relaxing or souvenirs shopping etc- Overnight Yerevan (B)
DAY 17 – YEREVAN-KUL  Free and easy morning for last minute shopping etc, before our early afternoon transfer to Yerevan Airport for our flight home 21 APRIL 2027 (WED) via Emirates EK2205 (1515-1820)  with 2h55m transit in Dubai before our connecting flight EK344 Dubai to Kuala Lumpur (2115-0835+1)
